Pak to 'retaliate strongly' if Saudi's sovereignty is harmed

In further attempts to boost the ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif warned that there will be a strong response from Islamabad if there is any threat to the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Arab nation.

General Sharif during his visit to the National Counter Terrorism Centre, stated that both the nations have strong bilateral and brotherly ties with a long history of deep rooted cooperation, The Express Tribune Reported.

During his visit, he also experienced the culmination of Pak-Saudi Joint Training Exercise 'Al-Shibab'.

The exercise shows the joint commitment of both the nation to eliminate terrorism and insurgency, he added.

A six-member high-level delegation of the Saudi military, headed by the Commander special forces of Saudi Arabia General Mufleh Bin Saleem Al-Otaibi were also present during the occasion.
