Pakistan rallied back to finish at 249/9 on Day 1 of the first Test against Zimbabwe at Harare after losing some quick wickets, early on.
Azhar Ali (78) and Misbah-ul-Haq (53) were involved in the rescuing job for the team in the middle of the innings, and later Saeed Ajmal (49 not out) too chipped in along with Junaid Khan (17).
Zimbabwe's Tinashe Panyangara took three wickets, while Tendai Chatara, Prosper Utseya and Shingi Masakadza all took two wickets each.
Sikandar Raza is making his Test debut for Zimbabwe.
