The death toll from Pakistan's heatwave has crossed 830, as the province of Sindh continues to be in the grip of a sweltering heat wave.
According to the Dawn, Shah Faisal Colony's Emergency Cardiac Centre has seen at least five deaths since Saturday, and Sindh Government Hospital Liaquatabad and New Karachi have seen 10 and 23 deaths respectively.
The death toll at Karachi's Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre has gone up to 295 since Saturday.
Civil Hospital Karachi has seen 110 dead, while 58 have perished at Liaquat National Hospital.
Sindh's Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah, who gave his first speech addressing the deadly heat wave in his province directed schools, colleges and government offices to close, in a bid to ease the suffering inflicted by the extreme weather.
