Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Majid Memon on Friday said the 'anti-India' resolution passed by Pakistan's Parliament has absolutely no element of truth.
"Such resolutions may be good news for the people in Pakistan or some politicians in Pakistan, but it has absolutely no element of truth. It has no consequence to India or to the world because the truth is otherwise," Memon told ANI here.
"We have been seeing that Pakistan has been repeatedly violating the ceasefire and there have been causalities on our side. India in fact waited for fairly long time to see that the good counsel would prevail, but only recently in retaliation we have taken some steps. And, therefore, India can't be faulted for such things which Pakistan proposes to do," he added.
Meanwhile, Communist Party of India (CPI) leader D Raja said India and Pakistan must resolve all issues through dialogue.
"Dialogue is the only way, whatever problems are there between India and Pakistan must be resolved bilaterally. There is no need to allow any third party mediation in the affairs between India and Pakistan," Raja said.
"Pakistan wants to internationalize the Kashmir issue, it wants to raise the issue in the UN, it wants to raise the issue in every possible international forum. The point is that India should conduct itself like a responsible matured nation," he added.

Earlier on Thursday, Pakistan's Parliament unanimously passed a resolution against the alleged 'unprovoked and indiscriminate' ceasefire violations by India and asked the government to seek UN intervention to resolve the Kashmir issue.
The resolution, which was moved by Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's Adviser on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz, stated that the National Assembly condemned Indian ceasefire violations at the Line of Control (LoC) and the International Border (IB).
