The parents of Anni Dewani, who was murdered while on honeymoon with her husband Shrien Dewani, have spoken of their ordeal as they await answers and closure to the case that has been going on for the last four years.
Vinod and Nilam Hindocha have been subjected to emotional torture time and again at each trial they have had to attend.
Annie's father, Vinod, has had to endure the harrowing details of his daughter's killing being played out in numerous court cases here as Shrien Dewani, from Bristol, battled extradition to face trial in South Africa, the Mirror reports.
Vinod, 65, said that that it was really painful to listen to details of what had happened on the fateful day, adding that they would talk about her as if she was a piece of something and not a person.
Recalling an instance, Vinod said that once he and his wife walked out of the court for they could not bear to hear what was being said.
He said there were several questions, the answers to which could be given only by Shrien, adding that they could feel the presence of their daughter with them, which was because her soul was not at rest and because she needed justice.
