Two weeks after the 13/11 carnage, around 150 leaders including Prince Charles are set to attend the conference on climate change in Paris opening on Monday amid intense security.
According to the Telegraph, the venue for the Summit is being guarded by around 2,800 police and soldiers and another 6,300 officers have been deployed in the city which is still reeling from the series of attacks on restaurants, a concert hall and the national football stadium in which 130 people were killed.
Prince Charles will address the opening session of the two-week UN conference as is expected to repeat his warning that climate change is partly responsible for conflicts such as Syria.
Two major rallies have been cancelled due to security reasons as France is still under a state of emergency and at least 24 activists have been placed under house arrest.
