Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Shahryar Khan has claimed that India and Pakistan would play six cricket tournaments in the next eight years, as per a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed with the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
The PCB chief revealed that the current Indian government's attitude is relatively better, and the first home series between the two countries would be played in December 2015 in the United Arab Emirates.
Khan said that they hope India's junior cricket team would also visit Pakistan, The Express Tribune reported.
Khan also said that during his visit to India, he couldn't meet the BCCI head Jagmohan Dalmiya due to the latter's illness. However, the PCB chief claimed that he had positive discussions with Dalmiya over telephone.
Khan said that resumption of cricket between the two countries was discussed. He added that Netherlands, Nepal and Ireland are also willing to tour Pakistan soon.
