People's Democratic Party (PDP) chief Mehbooba Mufti on Monday said that her party is working with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to frame a 'common minimum programme' ahead of the government formation in Jammu and Kashmir.
"When two sides come together for the formation of a government, there are many things on which the sides need to have a mutual understanding to make a common minimum programme," Mufti said.
"The talks have been going on since the past two months and in the next couple of days the decision should be finalized," she added.
The PDP and BJP have been in talks over government formation in Jammu and Kashmir ever since the results of the assembly polls threw up a hung assembly.
The PDP emerged as the single-largest party winning 28 seats in the polls. The BJP won 25 seats while the National Conference and Congress won 15 and 12 seats respectively.
