Peaches Geldolf's nanny, who brought her up, has paid an emotional tribute to her by calling her a brave, beautiful girl who almost made it.

Anita Debney, who was employed by Bob Geldof and Paula Yates when Peaches was a toddler, said that the 25-year-old tried very hard to be happy and has been the greatest joy, the greatest blessing, the tenderest part of her heart and soul, the Mirror reported.

Debney said that she loved her through the good times and the bad and never lost faith in her spirit and strength, and that she always held out her hand to help her when she struggled and fell.

The nanny said that Peaches overcame a lot and blossomed in motherhood and excelled at raising the sweetest, happiest babies in the world.

Debney added that the late model was passionate in her zeal to speak up for the needs of babies everywhere and lives have been changed because of that.
