Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has predicted that the Premier League title race this season could be decided on the last day.
City host title rivals Chelsea on Monday, with Pellegrini claiming that there will be plenty more twists and turns before the championship is decided despite his club's free-scoring form, which makes them favourites for the title.
According to the Mirror, Pellegrini also said that City has 45 points more to play for until the end of the season, adding that they will have to continue to be on the top as the team that will ultimately win the title will win by just a margin of one or two points.
City has scored 72 goals at home in all competitions this season, with Pellegrini determined that his side maintain their free-scoring heroics at the Etihad Stadium, with a warning they cannot afford to drop their level.
