Commenting on the recent incidents of non BJP Chief Ministers being jeered at while sharing a dais with PM Modi, Goa Chief Minister (CM) Manohar Parrikar said on Saturday that incidents of hooting are not right but they reflect people's anger over misgovernance.

"Hooting is not good for anyone but nobody does it purposely. It's the people's reaction on the ones who have not done good work," he added.

Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren was jeered at a couple of days ago by supporters of Prime Minister Narendra Modi while he was speaking at the inauguration of the National Digital Literacy Mission in Ranchi.

The incident led to a protest by the workers of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) earlier today, as they also showed black flags to Union Labour Minister Narendra Singh Tomar upon his arrival at the Ranchi airport.

The protesters, however, also clashed with Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers during the protest.
