A new survey has recently revealed that people stop caring about opinions once they hit 40.

The age of 41 has been pinpointed as the moment in life when people stop caring about what other people think of them, the Daily Express reported.

The laid-back attitude was in sharp contrast to people's 20s and 30s, when 56 per cent of them try hard to fit in.

In the poll, conducted for the launch of the all-new 4x4 Jeep Renegade, half claimed not to care about what other people think and said 41 was the age where they gained the confidence to stand out from the crowd.
