The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Friday lauded Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi, saying he is the heart of the nation and people from Kashmir to Kanyakumari want to meet him.

BJP General Secretary Rajiv Pratap Rudy, who was commenting on RJD chief Lalu Prasad's brother-in-law Sadhu Yadav meeting Modi, said it's quite natural and does not deserve any comment.

"People from Kashmir to Kanyakumari want to meet Modiji. And I think the entire nation is today waiting for Narendra Modiji. So, there is no reason to make any comment. And we believe that Narendra Modi is today the nation's heart," he said.

In an interesting political development ahead of the general elections, Bihar Congress leader Sadhu Yadav met Modi in Ahmedabad.

He had quit the RJD after being denied an election ticket in 2009 and then joined the Congress.
