Bayern Munich football team coach Pep Guardiola has branded his side's whooping 7-1 win over Roma as a fluke, saying that it is not normal to win by such a big score.

Bayern stunned Roma with their biggest ever away win in Europe as they maintained their 100 percent record in Group E. Dutch winger Arjen Robben beat Ashley Cole to curl a stunning opener in the eighth minute before Mario Gotze combined with Thomas Muller to double Bayern's lead.

Polish striker Robert Lewandowski headed in a third to triple Bayern's lead before Robben put them in a comfortable position with his second goal in the 30th minute, The BBC reported.

Thomas Muller's penalty made it 5-0 for Bayern within just 36 minutes into the game.

Some relief came for Roma as Ivorian forward Gervinho headed in a consolation in the 66th minute but they could not make a comeback into the game as Frank Ribery and Xherdan Shaqiri struck to make it 7-1.

Bayern, who reached nine points with the win, are now five points clear of Roma and seven ahead of Manchester City, who earlier threw away a two-goal lead to draw 2-2 at CSKA Moscow.
