Pet Fed organises pool party for dogs in Delhi

A pool party for dogs was organised in the national capital on Sunday, where guests and their pets spent fun-filled moments in the water.

The party was hosted by Pet Fed, a convention especially catering to pets. It was a BYOD (Bring Your Own Dog)-themed pool party for canines and their owners alike.

"I mean, you know, this is a good day, I mean planned for, you know, us and our dogs. So, it is a very thoughtful, you know, thing which Pet Fed has done. And more than that, it is a very good planned day-out for dogs and their owners to believe in their dogs as well as having a happy ending towards a good Sunday," Abhilasha, an attendee told ANI.

Scores of people were seen enjoying a swim with their pets. Even the four-legged creatures looked delighted to be getting wet.

The event came as a few hours of respite for the guests as well as the animals as temperature in the national capital soared up to 42 degrees Celsius.

Pet Fed founder Akshay Gupta said such events are regularly organised by their team with different themes.

"Pet Fed is basically India's biggest pet convention. We do this thrice a year in cities like Delhi, Bombay, Bangalore, Calcutta. And then we have a series of smaller events called BYOD, which is Bring Your Own Dogs, and these events have different concepts. So currently we were very active with these events in Delhi. Basically that is what Pet Fed is," Gupta said.

The last Pet Fed event in the national capital, a Pug Parade, was held on April 02. It featured a fashion show, free grooming sessions, games and medical check-ups, all for the canines.
