In an aftermath of Nawaz Sharif standing disqualified by the Supreme Court from holding any public office after the Panamagate verdict, the members of the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) were seen celebrating at the Parade Ground in the Shakarparian area on Sunday.
With other prominent PTI leaders, the chief of the Awami Muslim League, Sheikh Rashid Ahmed, was also present at the stage, enjoying a puff of cigar.
But what was more striking was a picture of himself on the matchbox with which he lit the cigar. Or so was reported by the Daily Pakistan.
This could be a well-sought example of either a neatly-done photoshop exercise or the high-end style of the Awami Muslim League chief.
Rashid was a petitioner in the Panamagate case and his political enmity against the Sharifs is no secret.
For the uninitiated, the PTI had proposed the name of Sheikh Rashid as the Opposition candidate in the August 1 election for the successor of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif.
