England batsman Kevin Pietersen has said that he does not want to break down but actually play the whole Ashes series and that he is eyeing a coaching role once his playing career is finished.
According to News.com.au, Pietersen pointed out that he has had knee issues in the past and just wants to make sure that the rehab continues.
The batsman missed England's opening your match in Perth because he was at a friend's memorial in South Africa, the report said.
Pietersen said he wanted to be a coach in the future but would find it difficult to become a full time boss in the shape of Andy Flower.
