Paralympic star Oscar Pistorius will reportedly go on trial on the murder charges for shooting his model girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp in March next year.
According to News.com.au, the double-amputee sprinter is to appear in court on Monday, where he is expected to be served with an indictment for murdering Steenkamp in the early hours of Valentine's Day at his Pretoria home.
Pistorius' attorney Kenny Oldwage said that the trial would be held in March 2014, from the first week until the end of the month.
The report further said that the state is arguing that the murder was premeditated, a charge which carries a sentence of life imprisonment.
Meanwhile, Pistorius has reportedly claimed that he cannot remember the password to help the detectives, investigating the murder case of Steenkamp, see encrypted messages on his iPhone.
