Premier League football stars including Chelsea winger Eden Hazard and Queens Park Rangers defender Rio Ferdinand have been angered after the new FIFA 15 game made them too short, too slow, with the wrong haircut and lacking in skill.

As the computer games get ever more lifelike, there's also plenty of banter between players over how their video game avatars look on screen. EA Sports, which makes the FIFA games, has been getting earache from a load of players ahead of Friday's release of FIFA 15.

Staff got abuse from top stars unhappy about their appearance and low skill ratings, the Daily Star reported.

Former Man United star Ferdinand was one of the most vocal. He demanded EA Sport raise the overall team ability for QPR after moving to the club. And he was annoyed because they didn't make his character quick enough in the game.

He told EA staff that they have got to do their research, asking them to please put the right stats on United players and also now that he is at QPR he asked them to elevate their stats to the right level.

The former United star said that he tweeted last year about it that he is quick man, or he was quick.

Manchester City ace Samir Nasri also laid in. His feedback to the team was that he is not quite happy with his speed in the game, especially because he plays on the wing.

Nasri said that he is quite a bit quicker than he is in the game, adding that he is only rated 81 or 82 out of 100, which is not enough.

Chelsea midfielder Hazard revealed that he is too small and needs to be taller by about three or five centimeters.

At Monday's launch event in London for the game other stars also took time out to moan about their FIFA likenesses. Crystal Palace winger Yannick Bolasie said that he thinks his finishing needs a boost, but added that he also heard he has three star skills so that needs to be addressed.

Ferdinand's Reading star brother Anton said that he just hoped they'd get his haircut right because last year's version had an out-of-date barnet. He said that he hopes this year they have got rid of the cornrows.

Bookies reckon mega popular FIFA 15 would shift a million copies in the first week alone, the report added.
