In a bizarre incident, a pilot decided to land his plane on the motorway and fill up at the local petrol station as he was running out of fuel.
According to reports, the Chinese police are trying to locate the foreign pilot and a Chinese passenger who filled up the plane at a petrol station in Beichuan county, Metro.co.uk reported.
A police spokesman said that the light aircraft allegedly taxied along the road alongside other cars that were queuing to fill up at the petrol station.
However, it has been suggested that the plane could have been a home-made device created to look like a plane but without the ability to fly.
