Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended a round table conference with German CEOs here on Sunday.
Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Syed Akbaruddin shared details about the Prime Minister's meeting via twitter.
"Movers and shakers of German economy/industry meet with PM @narendramodi," he tweeted.
"Business is 1st in order of priority. PM @narendramodi assisted by @CimGOI engages with German business leaders," he added.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Hannover, earlier on Sunday, the second leg of his three-nation, nine-day tour, after concluding a successful visit to France.
Upon his arrival at the Hannover Langenhagen Airport, the Prime Minister was greeted by Germany Ambassador to India Michael Steiner, Indian envoy Vijay Gokhale, Chief of Protocol Ambassador Juergen Mertens, Consul General Dr Vidhu P. Nair, among other dignitaries.
During his visit to Germany, Prime Minister Modi will be present at the opening ceremony of the 2015 edition of the Hannover Messe business fair, for which India is the partner country.

He will later unveil a bust of Mahatma Gandhi in Hannover, before holding talks with German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
On Monday, the Prime Minister, along with Chancellor Merkel, will jointly open the India pavilion at the Hannover Messe, before travelling to Berlin to visit the Siemens Technical Academy and meeting German Vice Chancellor Sigmar Gabriel.
On Tuesday, the final day of his stay in Berlin, Prime Minister Modi will receive a ceremonial welcome by Chancellor Merkel at the Federal Chancellery. Later, he will visit a model railway station in the city, before flying for Ottawa for the final leg of his tour.
