Prime Minister Narendra Modi has congratulated Leander Paes and his Swiss partner Martina Hingis for winning the mixed doubles title at Wimbledon.
The Prime Minister took to twitter to share his congratulations.
"More good news from @Wimbledon. Congrats again @mhingis. @Leander your accomplishments are truly inspiring & they make us very proud," he posted.
Paes and Hingis beat the Austrian-Hungarian pair of Alexander Peya and Timea Babos 6-1, 6-1 at Centre Court at Wimbledon, racing to victory in only 40 minutes.
