Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday extended birthday wishes to Union Minister for Minority Affairs Najma Heptulla.
Prime Minister Modi took to twitter to share his wishes with her.
"Warm birthday wishes to my colleague Dr. Najma Heptulla ji. May she be blessed with good health and a long life," he posted.
Heptullah, who turned 74, has been the Rajya Sabha deputy chairman for 16 years and contested the 2007 vice-presidential elections, losing to current incumbent Hamid Ansari by 233 votes.
