Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday greeted the people of Italy on their Republic Day.
The Prime Minister took to twitter to extend his wishes.
"On their Republic Day, my warm greetings & felicitations to the people of Italy," he posted.
Italy observes June 2 as its Republic Day, to commemorate the 1946 referendum when the people of the country decided what form of governance to pursue after the fall of fascism following the Second World War.
