Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday met the top Bangladeshi commerce and industry chiefs in Dhaka to further strengthen business links between the two nations.
Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) official spokesperson Vikas Swarup took to twitter to share the information.
"Strengthening business links. PM narendramodi meets Presidents of leading Chambers of Commerce and Industry," he posted.
Earlier in the day, Prime Minister Modi offered prayers at the Dhakeshwari Temple in the city. He also visited the Ramakrishna Mission here. He also inaugurated six projects undertaken with grant-in-aid during his visit of the Indian High Commission in the city.
He also received the Award of Liberation War Honour on behalf of former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee at the Bangabhaban from Bangladesh President Abdul Hamid.
