Prime Minister Narendra Modi boarded MiG-29K while on his visit to aircraft carrier INS Vikramaditya today.
He also met many Navy personnel on the carrier and shook hands with many aircraft pilots too.
PM Modi was first flown to INS Hansa (naval air station in Goa) after which he boarded the flight for INS Vikramaditya.
PM Modi is on a visit to the aircraft to see the air power demonstration by the Indian aircraft carrier off the Goa coast in the Arabian Sea today.
The 44,500-tonne warship, which went before by the name of Admiral Gorshkov, was acquired from Russia, and was commissioned in the Navy by Defence Minister AK Antony in November last year.
