PM Modi pays tribute to Bengali freedom fighter Bagha Jatin

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday paid tribute to freedom fighter Bagha Jatin on the centenary of his martyrdom.

"I salute Bagha Jatin on the centenary of his martyrdom. His courage & sacrifice for our Motherland will always be remembered," he tweeted.

Bagha Jatin was a Bengali revolutionary philosopher, who stood against the British rule. He was the principal leader of the Yugantar party that was the central association of revolutionaries in Bengal.
