Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday visited Chandra Shekhar Azad Park in Uttar Pradesh's Allahabad and paid his tributes to the brave revolutionary.
"This morning, went to Chandra Shekhar Azad Park in Allahabad & paid tributes to the great Chandra Shekhar Azad," he tweeted.
Prime Minister Modi, who is presently in Allahabad to attend the Bharatiya Janata Party's national executive meet, will address a public rally here at around 4 p.m.
Chandra Shekhar Azad, popularly known as Azad, was a revolutionary, who reorganised the Hindustan Republican Association under the new name of Hindustan Socialist Republican Association (HSRA) after the death of its founder Ram Prasad Bismil.
