PM Modi's 'Man ki Baat' touches peoples' hearts

Prime Minister Narendra Modi's maiden radio address on Friday has touched the hearts of people across the country. While some dubbed the Prime Minister's speech inspirational, others expressed the hope that he would lead the country towards development.

"Modi ji started this swachh bharat abhiyan, this is very good. Our country is on the path of success. We wish that he will take our country to great heights," said a person from Bhopal.

"Prime Minister Modi's main agenda is development and I am confident that he will develop India. I have hope in Prime Minister Modi and he will prove it," another resident added.

A woman from Bhopal also added, "It's not only now but ever since Modi ji has become prime Minister I have been keenly listening to his speeches. Prime Minister Modi's words are very inspirational for the people of the country. By focusing on cleanliness the Prime Minister is paying tribute to Mahatma Gandhi because Gandhiji wanted to see a very clean India."

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday urged the nation to adopt khadi products and pay special attention to cleanliness in his maiden address to the nation through the medium of radio.

Expressing his happiness over being able to reach out to such a large number of people, especially the poor, through the medium of radio, Prime Minister Modi said, "Today is the start. In future too, I will keep talking to you on the radio. It will be on a Sunday at 11:00 am."
