The Congress Party on Friday said Prime Minister Narendra Modi possessed a 'silly and dictatorial mindset', as could be judged by his response to the opposition questioning his government's performance.
"This statement of Narendra Modi that there is no one to question him only shows his silly and dictatorial mindset. It is a democracy and everybody has a right to question the government," Congress leader Sandeep Dikshit told ANI.
"I don't think that he has any answers to the questions. It's been a completely lack-lusture and empty government and cannot be carried on the basis of rhetoric," he added.
"So, he is well advised to keep his dictatorial tendencies and dislike of question being asked to him," he further said.
Earlier today, Prime Minister Modi made a promise that what other governments had not done for the poor in the past 50 years, he would do in 50 months only.
"Main hairan hun. Jinhone khate nahin khole kabhi, woj aaj mera hisaab maang rahe hain," Modi said. (I am surprised that those who never opened accounts, they are questioning my government's performance.
