Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Chief Ministers and top party leaders tomorrow as part of his government's focus on good governance and development.
BJP President Amit Shah will also speak to the leaders, who will include 13 Chief Ministers, five Deputy Chief Ministers and several Union Ministers.
Party General Secretary Bhupender Yadav had said the Prime Minister will exhort them to focus on the development agenda with an emphasis on the poor sections of the society. A similar meeting was held in August last year.
On the sidelines of the meeting, non-BJP Chief Ministers like Mehbooba Mufti and Amarinder Singh are also expected to meet the Prime Minister.
The Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister is likely to raise the unrest in her state, while her Punjab counterpart is expected to discuss the Satluj Yamuna Link canal issue with Prime Minister Modi.
