PM Modi to address election rally in Dhanbad today

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to address an election rally in Jharkhand's Dhanbad district on Tuesday, ahead of the fourth phase of assembly elections due to take place on December 14.

The 15 constituencies going to polls for the fourth phase of assembly elections are- Madhupur, Deoghar (SC), Bagodar, Jamua (SC), Gandey, Giridih, Dumri, Bokaro, Chandankiyari (SC), Sindri, Nirsa, Dhanbad, Jharia, Tundi and Baghmara.

Meanwhile, 17 constituencies are undergoing polling under the third phase today.

The first phase polls for 13 seats on November 25 had witnessed a record 61.92 percent polling whereas the second phase in 20 constituencies across seven Maoist-hit districts too recorded a higher voting percentage of 65.72 percent on December 2.

The last and fifth phase of polling will take place on December 20 and counting of votes will take place on December 23.
