The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) on Monday said Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold one-to-one meetings with the Korean CEOs on the second day of his tour.

"Tomorrow's most of the meeting are one-to-one meetings with Korean CEOs and CEO forum is also being organized. The Prime Minister will also go to Hyundai heavy industries which is important with reference to ship building," Secretary (East) Anil Wadhwa told ANI.

"The relationship with Korea is very wide ranging. There is focus on economics and investment through this visit," he added.

Prime Minister Modi and President Park Geun-hye earlier held substantive discussions on areas of mutual interest.

They welcomed the rapid expansion and diversification of bilateral ties in recent years.

The two leaders also agreed to upgrade the bilateral relationship to a 'Special Strategic Partnership'.

The Prime Minister is presently in Seoul on the final leg of his three-nation tour.
