Prime Minister Narendra Modi will on Saturday launch the 'Start-up India' movement.
The launch event is aimed at celebrating the entrepreneurship spirit of country's youth and will be attended by CEOs and founders of top start-ups from across the country and abroad.
The programme is aimed at promoting financing for the start-ups, and give incentives to boost entrepreneurship.
While delivering his Independence Day address from the ramparts of the Red Fort last year, Prime Minister Modi had announced about 'Start-up India, Stand-up India' to encourage innovation and entrepreneurship among young people.
In his 'Mann ki Baat' programme last month, the Prime Minister had informed about the unveiling of blueprint for start-ups.
He had said that the 'Start-up India, Stand-up India' programme will connect bright minds and youth all over India who have the talent and the capability to propel India's growth.
