Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday congratulated Joko Widodo on being sworn in as President of Indonesia.
"Congratulations and best wishes to Mr. Joko Widodo on being sworn in as the President of Indonesia," he said.
Widodo succeeded Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, who stepped down as President of Indonesia on Monday after serving two five-year terms.
