Pocket which allows the users to save an article for later reading has released a beta program for its registered users to test its new features before releasing them on the app or the web.
According to the Verge, the registered users of the Pocket can sign up to join the beta program on android, iOS and on the web
The beta version of the app includes a Recommendations tab adjacent to the list of saved content
Nate Weiner, the company's founder says in a blog post that the idea is that they will help the users cut through the noise and make sure they do not miss stories they would actually want to come back to.
Weiner also says much more is coming soon from Pocket, which raised a fresh $7 million this spring to expand its team. If the users use Pocket daily to stay on top of the web, as he do, they may want to sign up for the beta app and get an early look.
Pocket has 17 million registered users.
