The Toronto police is reportedly investigating a threat against the infamous crack-smoking Toronto Mayor Rob Ford.

While two police officers had visited the mayor's City Hall office, the police said that the nature of the threat remained unclear.

Interestingly, the threat comes in the midst of a raging debate on the raising of the rainbow flag at Toronto's City Hall in support of gay athletes in the Sochi Games, CNN reported.

The controversial mayor, who admitted to smoking crack and drinking too much in the past, tweeted that he was proud of all Canadian Olympians.
