Former Australian captain Ricky Ponting has said that he is 'offended' by accusations from former Test skipper Mark Taylor that he (Ponting) did not respect the sanctity of the Australian dressing room.
Taylor had said that he was 'sick' of hearing about the row between Ponting and rested captain Michael Clarke, adding that he was disappointed that Ponting let the issue out of the Australian dressing room and disturbed the sanctity of the atmosphere.
The Sydney Morning Herald reports that Ponting said he was offended by Taylor's remarks that he broke the sanctuary of the Australian change room, adding that he is not a person to do such things just for the sake of selling a book (his autobiography).
According to Ponting, every person in the dressing room at that time including Michael Hussey are aware of what happened in the dressing room, adding that he has just given his opinion on the differences between Clarke and Simon Katich.
