Valentines Day is far from over for jewellery designer Paul Michael Bierker, who has created bold new range of Star Trek-inspired rings that come in a choice of metal and gems.

The rings made by Bierker are geeky yet glamorous and inspired by a popular sci-fi series like Star Trek, Star Wars, Game of Thrones, etc.

According to Cnet, the "Boldly Going Somewhere" ring is up for grabs at Etsy for 595 dollars plus shipping and is available in metals including white gold with color-enhanced blue diamonds and white diamond galaxy, topaz, sterling silver with blue topaz and cubic zarconia; or platinum with blue color-enhanced diamonds and white diamond galaxy.

Bierker said that his rings were about passion, adding that love and knowing what your love cares about are key to the symbolism of your relationship.

He said that if one's significant other loves R2-D2, 'Star Trek,' art deco design, or anything else, why not get them what they want?

The 14-karat white-gold ring in honor of the "Star Wars" droid R2-D2 is set with a ruby eye, custom-cut sapphires, and a choice of center stone and is available at Etsy 1,895 dollars plus shipping.

Bierker said that he has some out-of-the-box 'Doctor Who' stuff in development, some superhero stuff, and additional gamer swag like 'Assassins'- and 'Super Mario'-inspired stuff, the report added.
