Here is a piece of news for Latin music lovers and fans of Juan Gabriel to rejoice as he is nominated for 'Album of the Year' category for 17th Annual Latin Grammy Awards.
The recently released complete list of nominations for the 2016 Latin Grammys shows that the Latin music icon, whose August 2016 passing stunned the community, will also be honored posthumously, reports E! Online.
With four nominations each, reputed singers like Julio Reyes Copello, Djavan, Fonseca, Jesse and Joy, and Ricardo Lopez Lalinde lead the coveted categories like 'Album of the Year' and 'Record of the Year.'
'La Bicicleta,' which is a famous hit by Shakira, featuring Carlos Vives is also nominated for ,Record of the Year, alongside 'Duele El Corazon' by Enrique Iglesias and Andrea Bocelli's 'Me Faltaras.'
The ceremony will take place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on November 17 and will be broadcasted live.
