Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas Dharmendra Pradhan and Nepal's Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supply Matrika Prasad Yadav on Saturday reviewed the progress of the Motihari-Amlekhganj??? oil pipeline in Amelkhganj, as part of his two-day visit to Nepal.
"Visited Amlekgunj depot of Nepal Oil Corporation, Petrol,diesel and ATF (aviation turbine fuel) will come to this depot by pipeline after the pipeline project is completed," Pradhan tweeted.
The 69-kilometre long pipeline will ensure a smooth, cost-effective and environment-friendly supply of petroleum products to the Himalayan nation.
The Union Minister also paid visits to Janaki temple in Janakpur and Dhanush temple in Dhanushadham earlier in the day.
On Friday, Pradhan held bilateral talks with Nepal President Bidhya Devi Bhandari, Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa, Education Minister Girirajmani Pokhrael and acting Prime Minister Ishwor Pokharel. He also visited the historic Pashupatinath Temple in Kathmandu.
