President Pranab Mukherjee has extended his greetings and felicitations to the Government and the people of the Republic of Cyprus on the eve of their Independence Day (October 1, 2015).
In his message to President Nicos Anastasiades, President Mukherjee said, "On behalf of the Government and people of India and on my own behalf, I have great pleasure in extending to you, the Government and the friendly people of Cyprus warm greetings and felicitations on the occasion of your Independence Day.
Our two countries have historically enjoyed mutually beneficial close relations. I am confident that these relations will continue to strengthen in the years ahead.
