The FIA has performed a surprise u-turn after Formula One team bosses voiced their safety concerns to the sport's governing body's boss Bernie Ecclestone and persuaded him to relax the 90 percent radio communication radio ban.
Teams were concerned that the new ruling due to come in the Singapore Grand Prix on Sunday would have an unequal effect, punishing teams without large dashboard displays, which could carry more information, more than the smaller teams.
Williams' ace Felipe Massa was the most outspoken saying that there were real dangers drivers lives could be put at risk. But teams have agreed the thrust of Ecclestone's bid to stop teams helping drivers as much as they have been doing, The Mirror reported.
Now all technical information related to car performance would be allowed until the end of the season and then banned for 2015. As a result only messages relating to driver performance will be prohibited from Sunday's gruelling night race, one of the hardest on the Formula One calendar.
The FIA has issued an updated list of banned messages, which extends to the pitboard. Some of them are:
1. Driving lines on the circuit.

3. Car set up parameters for specific corners.
4. Comparative or absolute sector time detail of another driver.
5. Speeds in corners compared to another driver.
6. Gear selection compared with another driver.
7. Gear selection in general.
8. Braking points.
