Prince Harry is all set to make his first official visit by embarking for Australia in October to represent the Queen in various naval events for 8 days.

During his stay, the Prince of Wales will be attending an event that will be dedicated to the island continent's navy in Sydney, the Mirror reported.

The 29-year-old prince will also be a guest of honour at the Sydney event, which will feature more than 40 warships, 16 tall ships and 8,000 naval personnel from 19 nations, to commemorate the centenary of the arrival of the Royal Australian Navy's first fleet in Sydney Harbour.

The Apache pilot last visited Australia in 2003 during a gap year break when he worked on a ranch in the Australian outback.

Harry will also be attending a reception hosted by the country's prime minister, Tony Abbott, at Kirribilli House, after watching the events on the water from the surveying ship HMAS Leeuwin.
