Prince has inked a major deal with Warner Bros Records - the label that he fell out with about 20 years ago.
The split was bitter with the pop star calling himself a slave and changing his stage name to a symbol, the BBC reported.
Prince has said the deal will see a release of his classic album 'Purple Rain' in time for its 30th anniversary. The 55-year-old would, now, also be regaining ownership of the master recordings made during their earlier deal.
Label's chairman and CEO, Cameron Strang, said that everyone at Warner Bros Records is delighted to be working with Prince once again, asserting that he is one of the world's biggest stars and a truly unique talent.
Prince signed to Warner Brothers records in 1977, and the company had released the biggest albums of his career, including 'Purple Rain and 'Sign O The Times.
