Prince William is back to his royal duties, as he visited an agricultural show in Anglesey on his first official engagement since the birth of his son.

The visit is understood to be one of the Duke of Cambridge's last engagements in Anglesey before he concludes his deployment as a search and rescue pilot at RAF Valley, Sky News reported.

Without Kate and their son Prince George by his side, the Duke will be among tens of thousands of visitors to the two-day agricultural show.

William is unlikely to remain with 22 Squadron in Anglesey for another deployment.

He could be stationed at another search and rescue base elsewhere in the UK or cease to be an active member of the Armed Forces altogether in order to focus full-time on royal duties.

More likely, the Duke may take another commission in the military, perhaps based in London, which would allow the new father to juggle both roles.
