England wicketkeeper Matt Prior has said that he thinks he is currently in the hottest of form but unfortunately for him, it is in the nets rather than on the field.

According to News.com.au, England have two more warm-up games before the first Test against Australia in Brisbane, starting November 21.

Prior is under pressure to perform this summer after scoring just 133 runs at an average of 19 during England's 3-0 Ashes triumph earlier this year, the report said.

Prior, who also dropped a catch in Perth, said he wasn't too concerned about his recent lack of runs because he was doing well.

Should Prior suffer an injury or fall further out of form, Jonny Bairstow is on hand to replace him in the Test side, the report added.
