Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate from Amethi, Smriti Irani, on Saturday said Congress president Sonia Gandhi's daughter Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has always been deficient of knowledge.
"If my work is compared to Rahul Gandhi's work, then we will know who is doing a drama. Priyanka Gandhi has always been deficient of knowledge. This yet another example of it," said Irani.
She also said that she is willing to give photographic evidence of what she did as a MP in Gujarat.
"Will she be ready to give any evidence of Rahul Gandhi working for his own constituency in the past 10 years?" she asked.
"And why is she speaking when she is not contesting from Amethi? Where is their candidate? Absent again?" she further asked.
Earlier today, in an apparent dig at Smriti Irani, Priyanka had said that the people, who are contesting from Amethi, are only interested in fighting against Rahul Gandhi, and added that they will never visit this constituency again.
