Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday told business leaders at the India-US CEO Forum meet here that pro-people, good governance is the solution to all their problems.
"The solution to all your problems is good governance...pro-people, good governance is the solution," Prime Minister Modi said at the meet with business leaders and U.S. President Barack Obama.
"The issues that you have flagged are good for me to know, helps to know how investors feel about how government should work. Policy driven state with consistency will solve many problems," added Prime Minister Modi.
Stating that the government has taken initiative for ease of doing business, the Prime Minister asserted he was confident of bringing positive outcomes from the initiative.
He also announced that the PMO will monitor all big projects and pointed out that the only way to improve the economy was through heavy investment in infrastructure and agriculture.
"To boost purchasing power in India, we need to improve economy and only way to improve is heavy investment in infrastructure, agriculture," said Prime Minister Modi, adding that India has tremendous scope for service sector and tourism is an untapped sector.

He also underlined 'Skill, Scope and Speed' as his top three priorities.
"My top three priorities are: Skill, Scope and Speed. We have talent as well as scope, I have faith in skill development," said the Prime Minister.
Around 30 business leaders from the US, including Indira Nooyi of Pepsico and Ajay Banga, CEO Mastercard and 17 Indian CEOs including industrialists Mukesh Ambani, Anil Ambani and Sunil Mittal are attending the India-US CEO Forum meet.
