South African fans have reportedly slammed Australian opener David Warner for his suggestion that South Africa, especially AB de Villiers, tampered with the ball to get advantage in the second Test, which they won by 231 runs.

Warner believes the hosts deliberately 'worked on the ball' to generate reverse swing in the second Test at St George's Park in Port Elizabeth that concluded last Sunday.

According to Sport24, angry fans vented their rage on Warner, calling him 'sore loser', 'joke', 'dork', 'complaining cricket pussy' and 'Australian w(h)iner', and said that Warner's comments reek of 'sour grapes' given that South Africa never complained when they were defeated in the first Test.

Telling Warner to take the defeat 'like a man', the fans also said that it is typical of Australia to blame the opponent when they are outplayed 'good and solid', adding that such accusations are very serious and should be strictly looked into if they are false.
